Cart Page - Selected Items for Download

This page is used to review, modify, and submit your cart request. There are three steps to using the page: Review Products Selected for Download, Select Additional Components, and Continue With Checkout.

Example:

Step 1. Review Products Selected For Download

This section can be expanded to view the list of data products that have been selected for download. You can click on the Product ID links to open a new product detail browser window specific for the selected product. Individual products can be removed from the list by de-selecting the check box on their row and clicking the Remove Unchecked Products from the Cart button. All of the products in the cart can be removed by clicking the Empty the Cart button above the product list.

Example:

Check the "Display Individual Files of the Products" check box to see the individual files associated with each product. At this point, you can download individual product files by clicking on the specific files displayed below each Product ID.

Example:

The user has the option of downloading an HTML version of the product list from the "Advanced user options" at the bottom of he page. It will include product files if the "Display Individual Files of the Products" check box is checked. The HTML version of the product list has the advantage of embedded hyperlinks that allow the user to directly download listed product files to their computer. It also includes hyperlinks to specific products detail pages in ODE.

Step 2. Select Additional Components

The next step of the checkout process allows the user to include additional items in the download cart.

The user can add the product's corresponding "derived files" to the cart by selecting this option's check box. The term derived files refer to files derived from PDS science products. ODE generates derived files to improve PDS usability. This option will add coverage footprint files for the products in the cart that are map projected.

Mini-archive files can also be selected for addition to the cart. The mini-archive option adds all the data set documentation and supporting materials to make the downloaded cart a "mini-archive." This will be equivalent to a normal PDS archive except that it will only contain the products you selected. In addition to the documentation and supporting materials, the mini-archive will include any instrument team provided browse materials for the products you selected.

If the Mars ODE cart contains MRO CRISM TRDR or MRO CTX EDR data, more options are available below.

Example:

An estimated time to fulfill the order based on selected download options is included in the selection total row of the download options table. If other customer requests are already in the queue to be processed, this count is displayed, but these requests have already been factored into your order fulfillment time estimate.

MRO CRISM TRDR / DDR

If the user's cart contains MRO CRISM TRDR products, the corresponding DDR products are available through the checkout process by checking the "Include corresponding CRISM DDRs" checkbox.

The corresponding DDR products can then be seen under the "Products Selected for Download" section.

MRO CTX EDR

If the cart contains MRO CRISM EDR products, the following options will be displayed. The non-PDS processed versions of the products can be acquired from ASU Mars Space Flight Facility's Mars Image Explorer. The JPEG2000, ISIS Header, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, and PDF formats can be selected for download. These files will be included in the standard ODE cart request. If the original CTX EDR product versions are not desired, they can be omitted from the request at that time.

Step 3. Continue.
