For more information about OMEGA EDR products, see the OMEGA Product EAICD.
The Observatoire pour la Minéralogie, l’Eau, les Glaces et l’Activité (OMEGA) Experiment Data Record (EDR) data products contain the Digital Numbers (DNs) from the experiment in the QUBE format. A series of files is generated for each sub-session of OMEGA, i.e., a series of scans performed in the same operation model (IR mode, VIS mode, spatial summing). Files contain all the scientific and geometry data produced by OMEGA. There are files for both the Cruise phase and orbit phases of the spacecraft.
OMEGA EDR Cruise products have the following file names:
CRUISEyymmdd_x.QUB
where:
yymmdd = time of observation
x = 1-digit character in HEX format (0 to 9, then A to F)
OMEGA EDR Orbit products have the following file names:
ORBnnnn_x.xxx
where:
nnnn = 4-digit orbit number
x = 1-digit character in HEX format (0 to 9, then A to F)
xxx = file extension
QUB = science data
NAV = geometry data
In ODE, EDR products have one of the following Product IDs:
CRUISEYYMMDD_X_DATA
ORBNNNN_X_DATA (science data)
ORBNNNN_X_GEOM (geometry data)
