The Radio Science Subsystem (RSS) Tracking Data Record (TDF) contains the backup and ancillary data for the Magellan bistatic radar experiments conducted while orbiting Venus. The product contains all radio metric data received from the Deep Space Communications Complexes (DSCCs). These data include angles, S- and X-band Doppler, S- and X-band range, S- and X-band differenced range versus integrated Doppler (DRVID), programmed frequency data, pseudo-residuals, and validation data. The product is used in determining spacecraft trajectories, gravity fields affecting them, and radio propagation conditions.

RSS TDF products have the following file names:

where:

y = least significant digit of the year

ddd = three-digit day-of-year on which data collection began

eee = two-digit day-of-year on which data collection ended
