The Radio Science Subsystem (RSS) Calibrated Data Record (SC1) data products are ASCII files of coefficients for polynomials used to adjust the frequency of the directly propagating carrier signal so that it is approximately centered in the 25,000 Hz output bandwidth. Each file covers approximately 16 minutes in (nominally) one second steps and is valid for both right-circular polarization and left-circular polarization. The files were created in the 1990’s and reformatted for archive in 2008.

RSS SC1 products have the following file names:

ydddhhm.SC1 (with detached PDS label)

where:

y = one-digit year

ddd = three-digit day of year

hh = two-digit hour

m = tens of minutes when the file started
