The Radio Science Subsystem (RSS) Original Data Record (ODR) is the primary data type for the Magellan bistatic radar archive. The are digitized recordings of 8-bit baseband receiver output data. For experiments in 1993, a single file represents 8 minutes of observing time. For experiments in 1994, a single file usually represents 16 minutes of data.

The RSS ODR products have the following file names:

ydddhhmm.ODR (with detached PDS label)

where:

y = least significant digit in the year

ddd = three-digit day-of-year

hh = two-digit hour

mm = two-digit minute on which data collection began

In ODE, ODR products have the following product IDs:
