CaSSIS Derived data are results that have been generated from one or more calibrated products (for example: mosaics, maps, resampled data, fits to data models, temperature profiles, gravity or magnetic fields, or ring particle size distributions).

 

CaSSIS Derived science data stored on the PSA follow the LID naming convention:

CAS_DER_MYNN_CCCCCC_HHH_K_FFF_UID.<ext> (University of Bern file naming convention)

MYNN_CCCCCC_HHH_K_FFF_UID.<ext> (University of Arizona file naming convention)

where:

NN = Martian year

CCCCCC = orbit number

HHH = orbit phase number

K = number describing the image type 0 (individual), 1 (stereo 1), 2 (stereo 2), 3 (reserved)

FFF = filter used (BLU, RED, NIR, PAN)

UID = image id

<ext> = dat, xml, tab for the data, xml, and table file respectively.
