The Radar System (RDRS) Full Resolution Radar Mosaic (FMAP) data product is a full-resolution (75 meters/pixel) global mosaic produced by the U.S. Geological Survey from Magellan FBIDR data. The complete dataset consists of 340 quadrangles in sinusoidal equal-area projection. Quadrangles extend approximately 12 degrees in latitude, except for those between 84 and 90 degrees North and South. Quadrangles near the equator extend 12 degrees in longitude; at higher latitudes, the longitudinal extent is increased to maintain a roughly constant number of samples.

RDRS FMAP quadrangle subdirectories have the following directory names:

Fynnzmmm

where:

y = data type

L = left look

R = right look

O = stereo look angle profile

nn = center latitude of the quadrangle rounded down to the nearest whole integer

z = latitude

N = North

S = South

mmm = center longitude of the quadrangle rounded down to the nearest whole integer

RDRS FMAP framelets have the following file names:

Fynnzmmm.IMG

where:

y = data type

L = left look

R = right look

O = stereo look angle profile

nn = center latitude of the frame rounded down to the nearest whole integer

z = latitude

N = North

S = South

mmm = center longitude of the frame rounded down to the nearest whole integer

RDRS FMAP quadrangle browse images have the following file names:

Bynnzmmm.IBG

where:

y = data type

L = left look

R = right look

O = stereo look angle profile

nn = center latitude of the quadrangle rounded down to the nearest whole integer

z = latitude

N = North

S = South

mmm = center longitude of the quadrangle rounded down to the nearest whole integer

In ODE, FMAP browse images and framelets have the following product IDs:

NNZMMM-BYNNZMMM (first half = subdirectory, second half = browse image)

NNZMMM-FYNNZMMM (first half = subdirectory, second half = framelet)
