The Gamma Ray Spectrometer Experiment Data Record (GRSEDR) E-Kernel (EKERNL) data products consist of the Experimenter’s Notes, the list of commands sent, and the associated timing information. These data are produced in response to a set of commands being placed on the file interchange system (FIS).

GRS EKERNL products have the following file names:

E_KERNEL_tttt_yyyymmdd.xxx (with one detached PDS label for both files)

where:

tttt = file type

NOTES = Experimenter’s notes

PEF = Binary time series

yyyy = year

mm = month (01-12)

dd = day (01-31)

xxx = file extension

TXT = Experimenter’s notes

DAT = Binary time series
