Data Product Search
Planetary science data stored in PDS are organized by
data products
and
data sets
. A data set is a collection of related data products, usually products acquired by a particular instrument and processed in a certain way. The data set also includes all documentation and supporting materials needed to understand and use the data products. A data product is a set of measurements resulting from a science observation, usually products acquired by a particular instrument and processed in a certain way.

Filter by Product ID or Product LID
(Show Options - 0 Parameters Set)
Each PDS3 data product has a unique
product id
. Each PDS4 data product has a
unique logical identifier (LID)
value, but ODE also stores the piece of the product LID that is the equalent of a PDS product ID. Either value can be searched using this field. Individual data products can be found with an exact match or multiple products can be found using the the wild card parameter. New users
for further details.
Search for exact products by entering their PDS Product IDs or Product LIDS in the text area below (one ID per line). A wild card character '*' may be used at the beginning or end of a string to search for multiple products with similar Id/LIDSs. The text box accepts a
maximum of 50 entries
.

Observation Time (UTC)
Creation Date (UTC)

Observation Time (UTC)
- the observation start and stop time, e.g. 2007-05-24T12:59:59.
For some products it is a single point in time, while it is an observational range for other products. Products with observations times falling across that range will be included, even if the observation starts before or ends after the range.
Creation Date (UTC)
- the time when a product was created, e.g. 2007-05-24T12:59:59.
Some older data products do not provide a creation date, so this filter may not apply for them.
Not all data sets include solar longitude values. They will be noted here if selected.
